Welcome to the official Web Site of the Etna Volunteer Fire Department, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Station 149. The purpose of this site is to educate our local community about who we are, what we do, and to encourage support. We are continually adding new information and features, so check back often.
 
The Borough of Etna is a Northern Suburb of the City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It comprises of approximately 1 square mile of land consisting of residential, retail, and industrial property, as well as 2 major rail service lines, 2 highways (Routes 8 and 28), and a portion of the Allegheny River.
 
The Etna Volunteer Fire Department provides emergency services to the Borough residents as well as providing mutual aid services to our surrounding communities of Aspinwall Borough, Hampton Township, Millvale Borough, O’Hara Township, Reserve Township, Ross Township, Shaler Township, and Sharpsburg Borough.
