Early Friday Morning around  0100, rescue companies 149 & 260 were dispatched for a crash with entrapment at the intersection of Butler Street / Kittanning Street in Etna. Rescue 149 arrived shortly before 260 Rescue and both companies began stabilization and disentanglement. Shaler-Hampton EMS provided a Paramedic as an inside rescuer to immediately provide patient care. Companies had to perform a full side removal due to the damage and to provide better patient access. By the time the rescues had arrived, patient was free from the vehicle, and into the ambulance, it took 10 minutes all together. Strong work by both rescues working side by side.
