This past weekend 12 members of Etna VFD participated in the 24hr ERS. Between instructional guidance and crews responding to the calls it was a “Busy day at the firehouse”. This training is geared to help members perform to their best abilities even when exhausted from running multiple calls. 12 fire apparatus from 3 different counties working together to get problems solved and work towards the same goal. Students responded to over 70 calls in 24 hours including EMS calls, Vehicle accidents, Rope Rescue and Building fires. We would like to thank Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company for opening the fire house and all of the instructional staff for helping plan and make this event happen! Here are a few photos from the training. Many more to come!
